He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Greathouse and Elsie Ann Greathouse (Stevens); his children-in-law, John Withers and Nikki Greathouse; and his siblings, Harold, Robert, George Greathouse and Ruby Greathouse.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Greathouse (Zofchak) of Bethany, WV; his children, Tammy Marie Withers (Dave Lancaster) of Colliers, WV and Kenneth Martin Greathouse of Reddick, FL; his grandchildren, Jerid Withers (Rebecca), Amanda Withers and Angela Brinkley; his great grandchildren, Marcus Withers and Jacob Withers; and his brother James "Russ" Greathouse (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
