He is survived by : his sons, Timothy D. Atwell of Tazewell, VA, Mark A. Atwell (Cheryl) of North Tazewell, VA, Bobby R. Atwell of Berwind, WV and William O. Atwell (Lori) of Tazewell, VA; his stepchildren, Debra White of Charleston, WV, Barbara Hicks of Galax, VA and John Mark White Hicks (Amanda) of Coats, NC; and his brother Noah Atwell (Pearl) of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
