Charles Lee Young Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Lee Young Jr. of Berwind, West Virginia, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lee Young, Sr. and Amelia Earls Young; his wife Florence Hartsock Young; and his sisters, Helen Louise Mabe, Gladys Mae Hoops, Margaret Sizemore and Elizabeth Young.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Lee Young, III (Laurie) of Dumfries, VA, Emmett Hartsock, Jr. of Charleston, WV, Anne Hartsock Bauguess Riffe (Joe) of Bluefield, VA, Lee Hartsock Pearson (Scott) of Daytona Beach, FL and Janet Hartsock Barker (Cecil) of Princeton, WV; and his siblings, Marvin Young of Fairfax, VA and Betty Lee Murphy of Ohio. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family intends to hold a future Celebration of Life ceremony to welcome all who are unable to attend due to current COVID circumstances.
