It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Wayne Adams Sr. of Berwind, West Virginia, born in War, West Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Adams Sr. and Lela Clydie Trivett; his wife Wilma Lea Hicks Adams; his brother Claude Adams Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Dougaree, Ronald Lee Hicks, Charles "Buck" Hicks, Fred Adams, David Ford, Mildred Hess Wessinger, Wanda Hicks Ford, Fronie Hicks Graham, Shelby Jean Hicks and Elvie Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Linda "Dee Dee" Adams-Brigham (Damon) and Billy Wayne Adams Jr. (Lori); his siblings, Betty Dougaree of Chester, MD and James Adams (Connie) of Tazewell, VA; his granddaughters, Shelby Nicole Adams, Haley Sierra Adams and Paige Makenzie Adams; his siblings-in-law, Rudolph Hicks, Patrick Graham, Kaylene Adams, Gail Rutherford (Tommy) and Jackie Mitchell (Howard); and his close friend Linda Blevins Royston. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for Bill's funeral expenses.
