He is survived by: his wife Carlyn Taylor Mellott; his sons, Heath Mellott (Tessa) of Jacksonville, FL and Kolt Mellott of Beckley, WV; his siblings, Anne Ray of Berkeley Springs, Teresa Peace of Reynoldsville, PA and Gary Mellott, Sr. of Martinsburg, WV; and his grandchildren, Jordan Mellott and Hailey Mellott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
