With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley D Michael of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Unger and Mary Effland Unger; and her siblings, Linda Golden and Duane Unger. She is survived by: her husband Larry W. Michael; her son Justin Wayne Michael (Jenny) of Martinsburg, WV; and her siblings, Kay Horsbaugh of Bel Air, MD, Jo Ann Schetromph of Hancock, MD, Rodney Unger of Little Orleans, MD and Michael Unger of Hancock, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center (95 Union St, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (4326 Highland Ridge Rd, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV.
