Robert Affeldt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Affeldt of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Robert is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Robert's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Nevaker and Elizabeth Pearson Nevaker; and his wife Sandra Lee Perry Affeldt. He is survived by: his children, Raymond "Butch" Affeldt of Glen Burnie, MD, Frank Affeldt of Berkeley Springs, WV, Thomas Affeldt of Clearwater, FL, Kenny Davis of Annapolis, MD and Laura Affeldt of Berkeley Springs, WV; and his siblings, Janice Hoobler of Baltimore, MD and Donald "Butch" Nevaker of Millersville, MD. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Risinger-Stotler VFW #4019 (4490 Valley Rd, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to the Tri-State Honor Guard, 527 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
