He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley "John Penny" Spears, Sr. and Bertie Ethel Vaughn Spears; and his siblings, Betty Sue Booth, Norma Bernice Parker, Charlotte Katherine Britt, John Wesley Spears, Jr., Earl Chester Spears, Paul Curtis Spears and James Parmer "Jimmy" Spears.
He is survived by: his wife Nannie Mae Cameron; and his sons, Bobby Rhea Spears (Tracy) of Hagerstown, MD, David Lee Spears (Jennifer) of Old Town, MD and Ronald Patrick Spears of Berkeley Springs. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rhea's name may be made directly to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
