He is survived by: his wife Janice Rychtar Ways; his daughter Martha Ways Waltersdorf; his stepdaughter Barbi C. Brown; his sons, Erik B. Ways and Steven A.; his stepsons, William T. Brown III and Michael E. Brown; and his siblings, Diana J. Cummings and George A. Ways (Nancy L.).
