He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leroy and Chaffie Pearl Cain Kees; and his half-brother Lloyd Bivens (Barbara Perry). He is survived by: his son David Ray Kees (Tammy) of Berkeley Springs; his grandsons, Matthew Kees (Jennifer) of Berkeley Springs and Christopher Kees (Carlin) of Bruceton Mills, WV; his great grandchild Rilynn Kees; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kayla Brigg of Berkeley Springs, Thayne McGuire of Berkeley Springs and Thoryn McGuire of Berkeley Springs; and his half-brother John W. Kees of Martinsburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
