He is survived by: his children, Richard Scott Payne (Tina) of Largent, WV, Brenda Lyn Shrout (Eddie) of Martinsburg, WV and John William Payne of Berkeley Springs, WV. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
