She was predeceased by: her parents, James Morton and Cleo Evangeline Moubray Smiley; her husband Glenn Robert Bechtel; and her siblings, Sharon Sterner, Gloria Salisbury, Francis Smiley, Ashby Smiley and Larry Smiley.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Morton Bechtel of Hanover, PA and Wanda Jean Spivey; her siblings, Reba Sanders of East Berlin, PA, Patsy Miller of East Berlin, PA, James Smiley of Hanover, Ray Smiley of Hampton, PA and Donald Bechtel (Monica) of Reisterstown, MD; her grandchildren, Blake Preston Reynold of Hanover and Tanika Leann Spivey of Berkeley Springs; her great grandchild Wyatt Lee Brezler of Berkeley Springs; her pet Smoke; and also James M. Spivey of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
