He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry and Harriett Hilicki Kolkmann; and his brother James Kolkman. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Crowe Kolkmann; and his siblings, Susan Warnock of Kenosha, WI and Richard Kolkmann of Bloomington, MN.
