It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Marie Smith (Berkeley Springs, West Virginia), born in Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robert and Betsy Elizabeth Shifflett Morris; her husband John William Smith; her children, Mary Louise Smith and William Christopher Smith; her grandson Brian; and her siblings, Myrtle "Poochey" Green, Lucille Mace, Charlene Morris, Dee Younker, John Lee Morris, Norman Morris, Buddy Shifflett and James Morris.
She is survived by: her children, John Turner Smith of North Carolina, Terry Eugene Smith of Hagerstown, MD, Deborah Marie Harris of Berkeley Springs, Tammy Sue Lindsay of Madison, WV, Gregory Allen Smith of Shanghai, WV, Lora Ann Sisenstein of Berkeley Springs and Lisa Joy Horton of Berkeley Springs; and her siblings, Donna Weller of Hancock, Elvarine "Boozy" Vanorsdale of Hancock, Ruby "Petey" Kager of Elkton, VA and Kenneth Morris of Berkeley Springs. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
