He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jack and Ora Belle Thompson Sharp; his son Jimmie Hale Sharp; and his siblings, Patricia Lamoureux, Brenda "Cookie" Doss, Jack, Earl, Lew and Dick.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Marie Underwood Sharp; his children, Walker Denny Sharp (Kim) of White Lake, MI, Donna Lynn Stains (Keith) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Wanda Sharp Childers (Steve) of Lexington, VA and Kevin Scott Sharp (Amy) of Corpus Christi, TX; and his siblings, Catherine Baechtel of Gaithersburg, MD, Kay Burke of Millboro Springs, VA, Charlotte Slagle of Marlinton, WV, Craig Sharp of Hopewell, VA, Tom Sharp of Marlinton, WV and Doug Sharp of Petersburg, WV. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
