He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Monroe and Ella Virginia Sipes McBee; his wife Mary Elizabeth Swaim McBee; his son Tony Lynn McBee; and his siblings, Dora Katherine Johnson, Elmer Hugh McBee and Henry Clay McBee, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Edward Lee McBee of Front Royal, VA, Penny Suzanne Long (Eugene) of Hedgesville, WV and Dale William McBee (Miyoko) of McLean, VA; and his sister Ethel Lemetta McCoy of Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
