He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bernard, Sr. and Ethel Cooley; his wife Thelma Jean Bane Cooley; and his daughters, Kimberly Cooley and Lisa Marie Cooley.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Jean Cooley of Martinsburg, WV, Deborah Ann Cooley of Mt. Union, PA, James Edward Cooley of Walkersville, MD, Johnny Bernard Lewis Cooley of Frederick, MD and Roy Bernard Colley of Great Cacapon, WV; and his sister Susan Cooley of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
