It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Calvin Frederick Hoffman of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, born in Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcom Hoffman and Nellie Cubbage Mazingo; and his siblings, Patsy Koch, Roger Hoffman, Foster Hoffman, Ross Mazingo and Jeff Mazingo.
He is survived by: his wife Velda Maxine McInturff Hoffman; his sons, Steven C. Hoffman (Susan) of Mt. Airy, MD and Todd B. Hoffman (Ann) of Silver Spring, MD; his brothers, James Mazingo of Mesa, AZ and Dennis Mazingo of Hagerstown, MD; and his grandchildren, Brittney, Ashley, Lauren and Scott. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
