He is survived by: his wife Wendy Lou McCarty McCoy; his children, Eric Wayne McCoy (April) of Berkeley Springs, Jamie Allen McCoy (Jaime Burger) of Warfordsburg, PA, April Dee McCoy (Vincent Branham) of Hedgesville, WV and Travis Wayne McCoy (Jessica) of Clarksburg, WV; his siblings, Deborah Caraway of Lafayette, LA, Diane Hayes of Inwood, WV, Louise Rainey of Hagerstown, Sharon Corbett of Hagerstown and Steven Kinion of Downey, CA; and his grandchildren, Collin Wayne McCoy of Berkeley Springs, Peyton Elizabeth-Mae McCoy of Warfordsburg, Jett Reed Burger of Warfordsburg, Cason James McCoy of Warfordsburg, Abigail Candace McCoy of Clarksburg, Finley Adam McCoy of Clarksburg and Miles Parker Branham of Hedgesville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
