It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche Jeanette McCarty of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wesley and Ottie Blanche Shade Michael; her child Momma; her husband Wilbur Albert "Mack" McCarty; and her son-in-law Ted Bivens.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Steven McCarty (Sandie) of Berkeley Springs, Vickie Rae Bivens of Berkeley Springs, Wendy Lou McCoy (Bruce) of Berkeley Springs, Melissa Ann Keefer (Richard) of Berkeley Springs, Joyce Ann Everett (Dennis) of Berkeley Springs, Donald Lee McCarty (Shelley) of Whitacre, VA, Kathy Lynn Lopp (Rodney) of Cross Junction, VA, Larry Wilbur McCarty (Donna) of Gainsboro, VA and Tammy Sue Breeden (Butch) of Hedgesville, WV; and her siblings, Carrie Ellen Michael and Charles Edward Michael of Berkeley Springs. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
