He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hollis and Hazy Parsade Carroll Jones; and his brothers, Homer Jones, James Jones and Frank Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy May Tucker Jones; his children, Susan J. Schultz of Greenville, NC, Robert L. Jones (Myung) of Stewartville, MN and Julie L. Tyson of Martinsburg; his brothers, John Jones and Jerry Jones; his grandchildren, Mary Schultz Gruner, Maggie Rose Schultz, Evan Bernard Jones, Sarah Hwija Jones, Tara, Montague and Dylan J. Kontra; and his great grandchild Theodore J. Montague. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
