It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernadine Unger of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Cleveland and Myrtle Ollie Burton Mason; and her siblings, Daisy Madeline Smith, Lula Vene Omps, Phyllis Jean Puffinberger, Dorothy Harris, Eva Crouse, Irvin Eugene Mason, Eugene Mason, Herbert Mason, Willie Mason and Marshall Mason.

She is survived by: her husband Melvin E. Unger, Sr.; her children, Melvin E. Unger, Jr., Ricky Eugene Unger (Bonnie) and Thelma Ann Beall (Stan); and her sister Betty Lee Calvin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
