Martha Marcella Starkey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 87, Martha Marcella Starkey of Benwood, West Virginia, born in Blaine, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Skvarka and Anna Skvarka; her husband Glen Starkey; her siblings, Frank, Paul, Albert Skvarka, Josephine Skvarka, Margaret Kolar and Theresa Jafrate; her grandson Robert Clayton; and her great grandchild Griffin Brady.
She is survived by: her brothers, Robert Skvarka and Henry Skvarka (Mardena); her sister-in-law Jeannie Skvarka; and her children, Alan Starkey (Lori), Russell Starkey, Kimberly Pelley, Jerome Starkey (Lisa) and Renee Clayton. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Martha's name to Catholic Charities Neighborhood Center Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling.
