He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee and Gertrude Ruth Brinkman, Sr. (Ehler); his siblings, James Lee Brinkman, Jr., Hanna Jo Goundry and Charles William Brinkman; his uncle John; and his aunt Sondra Pennachio.
He is survived by: his brothers, Edward "Eddie" Brinkman (Priscilla) of Benwood, WV and Michael "Mike" Brinkman (Angie Asbury) of Benwood, WV; his sisters-in-law, Linda Mikasen Brinkman of Benwood, WV and Tami Brinkman of Moundsville, WV; his uncle Edward Ehler (Sharen) of Wheeling, WV; his cousins, John Pennachio (Cristina) of Weirton, WV and Tony Pennachio of Dallas, TX; his nieces and nephews, Clint Derrow (Brittany) of Glen Dale, WV and Alexis Brinkman of Moundsville, WV; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Hall of Bridgeport, OH, Charlee, Nolan Derrow of Glen Dale, WV, Al Nickerson of Wheeling, WV and Oscar.
