She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Whitlatch and Dessie Whitlatch; and her siblings, James Whitlatch and Margaret Canterbury. She is survived by: her husband Arthur D. Loy; her children, Arthur Loy, II (Jeana) and Deborah Barnes (Bill) of Kernersville, NC; her siblings, Ross Whitlatch (Patty), Samantha Mucheck, Tootie Paravani, Pennie West (Bruce), Sandy Jafrate (Alan), Anna Gracik (Mike) and Brenda Valani (Dan); her grandchildren, William Barnes, Jr. (Katie), Samantha Mason (Mark), Elaine Donaldson (Shawn) and Paul Hengler (Melanie); her great grandchildren, Logan, Mackenzie Mason, Elijah Barnes, Alexa Donaldson, Sierra Donaldson, Olivia Hengler, Kate Hengler, Brody Hengler and Miles Barnes; and her great great grandchild Colton Beaver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marshall County Animal Rescue League, 37 Animal Shelter Dr., Moundsville, WV.
