It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby J. Elkins of Belva, West Virginia, who passed away on December 19, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Backus and Madeline Backus; her son Steve Elkins; and her grandson Kevin Elkins. She is survived by: her children, Diana Skinner, Theresa Elkins, Sheila McCutcheon (Richard), Christine Mclaughlin (Richard), Janice Elkins, Lisa Cutlip, Eric and Dennis Elkins; and her siblings, Annie Cole, Daisy Backus and Robert Backus. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.
