He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Nester and Pauline Cline Maki; his wife Pamela Maki; his children, Tabitha Holt and Matthew Maki; his grandson Brandon Sutherland; and his grandparents, Ethel Cline and Burt Cline.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kristine Efaw (Matt) and Michele Maki; his grandchildren, Jared Efaw, Andrew Sutherland, Rogan Holt, Cameron Efaw (Danielle), Reiss Holt, Jayten Efaw, Rylan Holt and Reed Holt; and his great grandchildren, Rexton Holt, Rhett Holt and Archer Efaw.
