She was predeceased by: her parents, Laco "Sam" and Madeline Lawson Smith; her husband Ralph Ankrom, Jr.; and her siblings, Harley Eugene Smith, Charles Franklin Smith, Michael Smith, Thomas Smith, Joan Buchanan and Diana Maston.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Lee, Joy Arnold and Ralph Ankrom; her grandchildren, Cody Lee (Brittany), McKenna Lee (Andy Taylor), Tyler Sturm (Lacie), Megan Barnhart, Noah Barnhart and Isabella "Bella" Arnold; her great grandchildren, Braxton Lee, Oaklyn Taylor, Zoey Sturm and Delilah Sturm; her siblings, Mary Powell of Belmont, WV, Linda Huggins of Vienna, WV and Larry Smith; and her close friend Samuel Eligio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
