It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Sellers Townsend of Belleville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gene; her son-in-law Jerry Fleak; her parents, Charles Floyd and Nellie Juanita Sellers; and her siblings, Jean McIntyre, John "Bill" Sellers, Ruth Sellers, Robert "Bob" Sellers, Larry "Dale" Sellers and Theresa Sellers.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Townsend (Babbie), Sandra Brown (Randy), Candice Fleak (Darrin Harris), Daniel Townsend (Penny Smith), Pamela VanMatre (Harry) and Steven Floyd Townsend; her sister Irene Guinn of Stockport, OH; and her sister-in-law Anna Lou Buck of Belleville. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
