He is survived by: his wife Peggy Pritt-Cooley; his pet Conner; his children, Charles, Michael Cooley (Lori) and Megan Krosky (Edward); his grandchildren, Ethan, Nora and Ronan Cooley; his stepchildren, Kimberly Smith (Donnie), Timi Phalen (Bobby) of Given and Ronald Pritt (Mary) of Charleston; his stepgrandchildren, Athena Moss (Russ) of West Chester, Kane Smith of St. Albans, Cam (Joanna), Titus (Carrie), Seth Phalen (Kaila) of Ripley, Victoria Warden of Hurricane and Samantha Morgan (Nathan) of St. Albans; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Jacob Moses, Mya, Eli, Asher, Amelia-Mae, Brooks, Rodrick Phalen, Bella Jude, Savannah, Austin Modrzakowski, Aubrey, Benton, Cayden Warden, Corbin Pritt and Harper Morgan; and his brother-in-law Losie "Johnny" Browning of Rutherfordton.
