He is survived by: his son Luke Nunley (Jennifer) of Liberty; his grandchildren, Bryar, Branson and Berkley Nunley; his sister Doris "Rusty" Patrick (James) of South Charleston; his aunt Dorothy Lawrence of Charleston; his stepson Patrick Taylor; his stepgranddaughters, Allison and Alivia; and his close friends, John Arrington and Rick Skiles. He is also survived by many cousins, life-long friends.
