He was predeceased by: his wife Charlotte Horton; his parents, John W. Horton and Dorothy Blosser Horton; and his siblings, John Horton and Ruth Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Adam Horton of Dunbar, Patrick Horton (Kaitlin) of Huntington, Ashley Holley (Matthew) of Cross Lanes and Laura Horton (Jon Atkins) of Belle; and his siblings, Steve Horton (Sandy) of Charleston, Lynn Horton of Charleston and Debbie Bostic of Charleston.
