He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Holtsclaw and Della Holtsclaw; and his brothers, Luke, Kenneth, Dave, Billy and Tommy.

He is survived by: his wife Kay Holtsclaw; his children, Sherri, Mark Milam, Carrie Beth and Jeff Hunter; his grandchildren, Brittany (John Ellis), Lauryn Hunter, Kayla (Nick Carver), Nick Hunter and Mckensie (Kyle Revis); his great grandchildren, Bayler Graham, Mason Alexander, Easton Emerson, Callan John, Sadie Diane and Cannon Ray; and his sisters, Pauline Shands and Sue Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In honor of Mark's dedication to midget league football, please consider a donation to our current local midget football program, Eastern Kanawha Cougars. Donations can be mailed to Rick Green, Treasurer of Eastern Kanawha Cougars, 24 Shoemaker Lane, Charleston, WV 25311.

“I remember his activity in the sports as a referee which he was compassionate about. He may have missed the correct call, from whom I heard this from, but was always allowed to come home lol. Mark will be missed and my family sends our deepest condolences to the entire family. God be with this family and Mark will not have to schedule a tee time now, just tee it up and enjoy. Gene Smith”

“I first met Mark through Kay 35 years ago. He was dressed in golf apparel and was not happy with his play at the course that day. However, he had a big smile on his face and asked Kay " Honey where would like to eat this evening." He always showed how much he loved his wife and family.
