She was predeceased by: her parents, Okey Higginbotham and Lilly Harmon; her husband Charles Cox; her son Charles Cox Jr; and her sisters, Mary Cline and Bethel Green.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Cox (Belkis) of Miami and Sandy Cox of Belle. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
