He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Whorley and Flora Atkins Whorley; and his sister Alma Lee Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Shelia; his sons, Christopher of Roanoke and Gary (Krista) of Belle; his grandchildren, Alexus Weese (Will), Joe Whorley of Campbells Creek, Dawson Whorley of Charleston and Devon Whorley of Roanoke, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Grace Adkins, Coen Weese and Kendalyn Weese of Mammoth; his brothers, Danny Atkins and James Atkins (Jimmy) of Belle; his nephew Mason Casto (Franklin); and his pets, Ringo and Chewy.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Father's House of Simmons Creek Simmons Cree.
