He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddius Joseph Snodgrass and Verna Snodgrass Lucas; and his nephew Thad Snodgrass. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Snodgrass; his children, Chad Snodgrass (Jennifer) of Morgantown, Katie Snodgrass (Pam Legg) of Cross Lanes, Gina Adkins (Ronnie) of Dunbar and Angie Westfall of Saint Albans; his brother Joe Snodgrass (Johnna Lynn) of Belle; his nieces, Shannon and Suzanne Snodgrass; and his grandchildren, Maximus Snodgrass, Scarlett Snodgrass and Christian Legg.
