He is survived by: his parent Rosabelle Posey Gillis; his children, Kathy Powell, Kimmie Peterson, Wesley "Buddy" Gillis Jr. of Philippi and Jimmy Gillis of Belington; and his grandchildren, Wendy Sigman, Jennifer Smart, Elizabeth Peterson, Becky Gillis, Dakota Dom, Chase Brewer and Hunter Gillis.
