It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie McLean of Belington, West Virginia, born in Junior, West Virginia, who passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Ware and Hazel Hinchman Digman; her children, Donald McLean, Timothy McLean and Debbie Anita McLean; her great grandchild Keyaira Mambo; her sisters, Tressie Tenney, Louise Gelhausen and Edith Mace; her half-sister Troney Paugh; her brother Arnold Ware; and her half-brothers, Floyd Ware, Stanley Wiseman and Sterling McLean.
She is survived by: her children, Roger McLean (Ellen) of Ashburn, Terry McLean (Charlene) of Philippi and Carmen Markley (Randall) of Belington; her siblings, Linda Rowan of Buckhannon, Kate Posey of Walkersville, Vivian Ilene Thorn of Junior, Martha Godwin of Coalton and Donald Ware of Painesville; her half-siblings, Vada Conrad of Walkersville, Sharon Wolfe (Clarence) of Buckhannon, David Ware of Mabie and Kenneth Ware of French Creek; her stepsiblings, Ruby Skidmore of Buckhannon, Wilma Wellman of Walkerman, Cliffton Vest of Belington and James Vest of French Creek; her grandchildren, Traci Baker of Fairmont, T. W. McLean (Brandy Brown) of Philippi, Jerry Straughan of Philippi and Chelsea Pingley (Andrew) of Norton; and her great grandchildren, Jaden Mambo of Philippi and Everly Pingley of Norton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a whole host of friends.
