Roger Lynn Childers Obituary

He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Davis Childers; his wife Sandra Lee Price; his son Rodney Childers; and his siblings, Nancy Carroll Harris, Helen June Cain, Mary Jo Delauder, Lois Nestor, Clyde Carroll Childers, Don A. Childers, Robert Lee Childers, Lawerence Dale Childers and Eva Marie Childers.
He is survived by: his father James Carroll; his sons, Scott Childers (Mary) of Clarksburg and Dr Ricky Childers (Samantha Childers) of Fort Worth, TX; his siblings, Anna Lee Nestor and Ralph Leon Childers of Clarksburg; his grandchildren, Matt, Shannon Swiger, Laila, Grace, Emma Childers, Shawn, Ashley Wamsley, Karlea Bise and Eli Childers; and his great grandchildren, William Scott Swiger and Chase Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel (56 N Brandenburg St, Belington, WV 26250). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Roger to the Sugar Creek Community Church c/o David Poling, 2396 Morgantown Pike, Belington, WV 26250.
