He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Reger and Olive Bernier Reger; his brother John A. Reger; his wife Preceding; and his daughters, Allison Whitaker and Wendy Jo Reger Spahr.
He is survived by: his children, Robert S. Reger (Belington), Bradley J. Reger (Missy) of Elkins, William A. Reger (Tammy) of Buckhannon and Lori A. DeBastiani of Belington; his sister Barbara (David Francisco) of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Thomas Reger, Brittany Austin of Morgantown, Adam, Sarah Young of Morgantown, Brian, Mark Whitaker of Nashville, TN, Ani, Lexi of Elkins and Emma of Buckhannon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel (56 N Brandenburg St, Belington, WV 26250). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
