She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Fredrick and Opal Fitzwater Koontz; her husband Vernon Sylvester Shahan; her son Leonard "Kooter" Shahan; and her brother Thomas Koontz.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Robert Shahan (Sandy) of Belington and Bradley Shahan of Belington; her granddaughter Stacey Nicole Kyle (Anthony) of Belington; and her great grandchild Mason David Kyle (Sherman Pitzer).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Talbott Funeral Home Chapel (56 N Brandenburg St, Belington, WV 26250). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
