He is survived by: his children, Kevin Coontz (Teresa Vance) of Belington, Misty Bennett (Jeff) of Buckhannon, WV and Sheila Haddix (Kirk) of Longview, TX; his siblings, James W. "Jimmy" Coontz (Jeanie) of Belington, WV and Elizabeth A. "Libby" Weese of Washington, PA.; his grandchildren, Jason Haddix (Sarah) of Texas, Brittany Rae Scott (Jason) of Fairmont, Hanna Kay McClung (K. J. Nadeau) of Morgantown, Brandon Bennett of Buckhannon and Alexa Albright (Henry) of Morgantown; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Bryson, Landrey, Luke, Lindsey Haddix, Brayden and Addison Scott.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Animal Friends of Barbour County P.O. Box 452 Philippi, WV 26416.
