She was predeceased by: her parents, James Isadore Gobbell and Dorothy Elizabeth Gobbell (Jarvis); and her husband James Ray Athey. She is survived by: her children, Scottie Dale Hunt (Amy) of North Carolina, Sherry Susan Johnson (Richard) of North Carolina, Kelly Ray Hunt (Pamela Bailey) of Beckley, WV and James Matthew Hunt of Beckley, WV.; and her grandchildren, Michelle, Emily, Braxton Hunt, Dylan and Jessica Johnson.
