She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Weis and Rudell Weis; and her brothers, Robert Weis and Budgie Weis. She is survived by: her husband Bill Vest; her siblings, Shirley Avis (Junior), Lois Ewing (Dennis) and Danny Weis (Sherri); her daughters, Cereatha Kinzer (Kevin) and Sandy Smith (Robbie); her grandchildren, Kateland Daniel (Chad), Ashley Kelly (Logan), Halee Morgan (Gray Bowyer) and Ethan Morgan (Allie Logan); her great grandchild Asher Daniel; and her nephews, Melvin Avis, George Avis, Rodney Weis, Jackie Weis and Jason Ewing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calfee Funeral Home (800 S Oakwood Ave, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
