Regina Mae Farmer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Regina Mae Farmer (Beckley, West Virginia), born in Auburn, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David L. Hughes and Cecil Mae Hughes; her husband Charles C. Farmer, Jr.; her brothers, Joseph H. Hughes and Jack G. Hughes; her daughter Cynthia L. Farmer Rinaldi of Summerville, SC; and also, Charles C. Farmer, Sr. and Bessie Sue Worley Farmer.
She is survived by: her children, Jo Anne Farmer Richardson (Wilton) of Charleston, SC, Charles D. Farmer (Nancy) of Beckley, WV and Christopher A. Farmer (Becky) of Clendenin, WV.; her grandchildren, Joshua C. Richardson (Emily) of West Ashley, SC, Jonathan P. Richardson (Heather) of Monks Corner, SC and Madison C. Farmer (Josiah) of Charleston, WV.; and her stepgrandchildren, Breanna Goodman Yoke (Justin) of Beckley, WV and Lindsay Goodman Underwood (Jared) of Beckley, WV.. She is also survived by three nephews, one great niece and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (422 Neville St, Beckley, WV 25801). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the TBD First Baptist Church (422 Neville St, Beckley, WV 25801).
In lieu of flowers, Regina would like donations sent to the Beckley Area Foundation's Farmer-Sims Fund, the Gideons International Memorial Bible Fund and Hospice of Southern WV, Inc.
