He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Lester and Artie Lester (Cline); his wife Dorothy Lester; his son Dr. Danny Ray Lester; his stepson Phillip Ray Lewis; and his brother Billy Lester.
He is survived by: his nephew David Lester of Bristol Viginia; his niece Kathy Kump; his friends, Avery, Mary Bailey, Ray, Rita Lester, Dr. Robert Rufus, Vickie Rizzi and Mike Tyree; and also Alice Lewis.
