“Maurice and I went to grade school together in Marlinton. In first grade, we did a play where I was Little Red Riding Hood and he was the wolf. I remember we both kept giggling. Then when I moved to Beckley while in 6th grade, who did I see with a friendly smile? It was Maurice, who had moved here before me. It is comforting to know someone when you are the new girl in class. He was always so friendly. I won’t forget him. He was such a special guy. Prayers for his family, Doris Lilly”
