It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian V. Hopkins of Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Veley and Iva Veley; her husband Barker Hopkins; her grandson William R. Hopkins; her siblings, Lester, Leland Veley and Inez Swarthout (Marian); and her son-in-law John M. Yurick.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara H. Yurick; her daughter-in-law Beverly Hopkins; her grandson Shaun Hopkins (Brandy Hopkins); her great grandchild Ellie Hopkins; her grandchildren, Sam Yurick, Nick Yurick (Carrie Poh) and Alice Tener (Michael Tener); and her son William Dale Hopkins. She is also survived by her parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews.
