She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Ford and June Ford (Wiles); her husband Thomas Howard Summerell; her brothers, Charlie Ford and Burton Ford, Jr.; and her son-in-law Brian R. Meredith.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca (Becky), Meredith (Danny) of Pax, WV. and Edward Summerell of Maryland; her siblings, Melinda (Fay), Glen Cunningham of Falling Waters, WV, Rev. James Ford and Henry Ford of Beckley, WV; and her grandchildren, Brianna Meredith, William, Anna and Dorian Summerell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
