He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cozart and Vallie Jane Cozart (Daniel); his wife Alma Jean Cozart; and his daughter Naiomia Ann Daniel. He is survived by: his children, Johnnie Cozart Jr. of Gallagher, WV, Robert Cozart (Tara) of Tobaccoville, NC and Elaine Stephenson (Roy) of Fairdale, WV. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and various nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Melton Mortuary Chapel (1200 Harper Rd, Beckley, WV 25801). A wake will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
